We dropped off our 45 to get wrapped today and wifey grabbed an arm full of the tumblers to take to her dad's sign shop to get powder coated.

RTIC 45 real world performance update

Last Friday we were leaving for a weekend Scout trip, I filled up the cooler about 1/3 full with block ice I had froze in my chest freezer. I would consider the cooler was pre chilled since it was in the low 40`s in my garage at the time. I placed food and warm water bottles in the cooler. When I got to camp a few hours later the water bottles were partially frozen! I think that`s a first for me which shows how well this baby is insulated. Temps rose into the 60`s and 70`s this week and everyday I would check the ice. Today 8 days later I dumped it out and still had a nice chunk of ice floating around. The seal was so tight there was considerable suction which is a good thing of course. After outing # 1 I am impressed with the purchase.

Anxiously awaiting the one I ordered yesterday.. I went with the 65 Tan since the blue is sold out. I do hope it is everything I've been told and seen that it is.

Bulk tumblers and accessories are on sale again. Individual tumblers are 8.99 - 10.99 depending on size and color.

Wifey picked up the cooler from getting wrapped. Turned out awesome i think!!
Matches the tumblers and coozies that we had painted to match our boat. I think they all turned out great!!
Wifey's powder coating of tumblers has taken off, so we'll probably be ordering a few more cases soon.Click image for larger version

I dont know, i just wanted it done. I asked, but wifey said that she didn't know how to price it, she is use to doing vehicles and trailers.
Its wifey's friend that has a sign company. She sells a lot of jobs for her friend and helps her making shirts and with the vinyl work, so.....
We are getting a new K2 Summit wheeled 60 cooler wrapped too, that i ended up with a couple weeks ago.

That wrap looks cool.

I host a Scottish Clan tent at Celtic festivals and that would be a nice touch to have one wrapped in out tartan with clan name and crest on it.

Yeah I've seen something similar price wise for the ones available on the Internet. I don't know about custom ones.....yet.
I know the graphic design time would probably cost more than the actual printing. They sent me about a half dozen layups before printing it, and i still wasn't sure until i saw it in sunlight, then they installed the print.
Still, i dont think ill have as much as a plain yeti in it all together!!

Yep!
Heck them k2 coolers are too. My buddy won this k2 summit 60 that he didn't want, so we did some trading for it. Honestly I've got right at $150 in it, but $100 of it was something i traded him that i was never going to use, so i couldn't pass it up for another $50 cash. Honestly not much bigger than the rtic 45, but it might be better for draggin around softball fields with wheels and a drag handle!
