sliding shelves for the rv kitchen?
We do not yet own an RV, but spend every chance we get with my in-laws in their RV. I don't even know if I am in the right place to ask questions, but my husband and I would like to give mom and dad, sliding shelves in the kitchen of the RV for xmas. Mom talks about them all the time. I could only find one company in Canada that does it called Gliding shelf Solutions, has anyone heard of them or had them installed.
Sara!

I don't know anything about the company that you found, but I found several by doing a Google search for "sliding shelves for rv". Here is a link for one hit Rolling Shelves & Drawers | RV Supply Warehouse

I put rolling wire baskets in our pantry to reach items in the rear.
We never had a problem with the door flying open until we did.
All that weight hitting the door pushed it open once and the mess was horrible (luckily the Ragu bottle did not break and the cereal cleaned up quickly).
I added a locking device that night before we even broke camp.

A local cabinet maker could build you shelves for the RV. I made them for mine. I got all of the items needed at HD. It was an easy fix that made DW happy to be able to reach items at back of pantry. I have not had a problem with the door opening and the shelves coming out while traveling.

See if you can find anything at WWW.richlieu.com. They are the largest hardware wholesalers in Canada. The company I work for has an account with them. Just contact me.
