Wonder what the wind speed is?

Sitting here rocking and rolling in the wind so started searching around the net for a way to get the current wind speeds. Ran across this website that has wind speed and a lot more! Hope someone will find it useful. I happen to be in Hawthorne, NV so that's the link I've supplied.

My Granddaughter gave me a weather station for my fiver in and outside temp and humidity on inside readout. The wind speed is also on the display but the instructions say to have the indicator 35 feet up for an accurate reading!

Check out http://wunderground.com Thousands upon thousands of local weather stations, you can probably find one in a neighborhood right by you. It's where all my weather station data is sent.
