I wonder how long the "memory" will last,

I just carry two 25' hoses and a 10 footer. They do what I need, when I need it.

Oh, I also carry a 25' green hose for cleanout.

I just haven't figured out if we did it as good as our parents did. Know for certain our kids aren't raising their next generation very well compared to how we were raised. JMO.

The add calls it garden hose. Public Health calls for white hose with very low toxins. That's for your protection. I've never seen a "hose cop". Would not want to cook in chemical laden water from a sun heated hose however.

Why not... never really tasted much difference between the white hose, the green one, the red one or the greyish brown one. Almost all of em contain some butyl or plastic that leeches in the sun unless you paid more than 50 bucks for a 25 footers. And I bet if you left that one in the sun for a bit that water wouldn't taste too great either.

Hey, for twenty bucks... if I didn't have enough hoses already.

It might swell from being exposed to pressure for an extended period - most garden hoses do.

The pressure is on Herk to make the purchase and do the review. You should be able to fit it in your moderator's budget.

Herk,
They are starting to treat you like the go to guy on Mythbusters. Did you volunteer to be the test dummy?
