You May Not Know About This Program

There is a government program called Every Kid in a Park. If you have a fourth grade student in your family they can download a pass that will get them and any passengers in the car with them free entry into any national park. This program is for fourth grade students only. Visit http://www.everykidinapark.gov for more information.

We are Very much in favor of the Long Running "Junior Ranger Program" that the NPS has run for years! Ages 2-13 BUT ALL ages can Participate! I really don't know why they call this NEW?? program "Every Kid in the Park" and LIMIT it to ONLY 4th grade kids? We are 100% for the "NPS Junior Ranger Program"! Youroo!!

Just to clarify for others, the Junior Ranger Program and the Every Kid in a Park program are two completely different and unrelated programs.

Basically...
Junior Ranger Program = NPS run activities/education while visiting National Parks

Every Kid in a Park = Free admission to National Parks for the 4th grader and their family (or more precisely, anyone in the same vehicle)
