1st New Years in our CC

We celebrated New Years Eve and day by having our 6 & 7 year old granddaughters with us. This has been a lotta fun. The wx has been conducive to playing outside all day, cooking out - then critiquing my culinary masterpieces. The girls wore Cooper out walking and playing with him. Poor cat never got a nap! Tomorrow should be a pool day - we're in Mesa, AZ. Grandma and Garanpa have slept very soundly every night since we picked them up last week. We have had a ball!

Sounds like a lot of fun! I've been wondering how New Year's Eve would be in a campground and started thinking about it for next year. Any words of advice?

We're "camped" at Mesa Spirit RV Resort. This is a 55+ community. This turn of the calendar was nothing new to us and the girls are too young to stay up. There are only two other kids here with family that I'm aware of. It was quiet here. But there were lots of fireworks in the town around us. I would imagine, if camped at a normal CG, there would have been some activity.

Hmmm, 55+ and no kids around. LOL
Must be a sedate park. Down South there are
golf carts full of revelers and a huge party
attended buy almost all. Live entertainment
and multi national comradery.
