Turbs, glad your in a club, and president for that matter. I'm up in Northern Minnesota and we love to ride. The Hill City club south of me (I belong to the Itasca Drift Skippers) just had their annual run last weekend. Rode from their town to Park Rapids. A lttle over 100 miles one way. They go somewhere different every year. Anyway, a good bud of mine who belongs to that club invited me along. New people, some different trails, and every one immediately gets along because of the same interests.
Kind of like camping.

I guess I missed the most important question...
What was your course length, your time and MPH? Where did you come in?

Looks cold! Cool pics!!
You know, I don't think I've even seen a snowmobile in person. And we have had more snow the past 5 years than all my years together. We have tons of quads/ 4wheelers and side by sides.

For the snowmobile nuts, if you ever get the chance, head to West Yellowstone. The park itself sucks, but the trails south of West Yellowstone are awesome.
Last time we went, we rode up under a full moon, and parked on an 11,000 ft peak, high above the surrounding mountains. 360-degree view. Man, what a sight in the bright moonlight!

Could you get up on top of that nearby peak?
One would have to be careful to not park on a cornice though!

Can't remember if that one was accessible from back side or not, doubtful. The ones that are, we can see the lights of Cody Wyoming, 90 miles away. Cooke City, MT use to be base camp for the Yamaha R&D crews.

Well I'm back from the radar run.
91 mph in 660 feet.
I held first place title all day in my class then another guy ran 92 right at the end.
Top speed of the day was 109 mph at our track.
Our competing club also had there radar run today.
They have a 1000 foot track and top speed was 131 mph
Mind you all this was on ice on the backwaters of the mighty Mississippi.
