having did a tandem skydive from 13,000ft. and doing 3 somersaults out of the plane, i have experienced, to some degree, what Felix meant by how small we are in relation to the Earth.

my senses were overwhelmed at first, because they couldn't take in all the sensory information. it's as if my brain had to "blink".

i greatly admire people like him, that continue to push the envelope on what mankind can do. part of me wishes i were him.
