Another Photo Contest

Hmmmm, I see in the new Highways magazine that the Good Sam Club is now running a photo contest using the Good Sam “Sammy” doll. All photos that are submitted must have the Sammy doll in the photo. What a marketing deal. You buy the doll at Camping World and then you can enter a photo of him in the contest.

This was the first I’ve heard of a Sammy doll. Maybe I just haven’t been paying much attention.

I hadn't heard of a Sammy doll. The marketing is fairly common, though. I've been in a few stores that devoted an entire wall to pix of people holding a shopping bag with the store's logo while the subject was standing in some exotic location.
