DW and I are looking to replace the old pressure treated steps off of our rear 6-foot sliding doors, and have decided to got with building paver steps. From grade, steps need to rise 30" and we want a curved (actually, semi-elliptical) design sorta like the picture below. I'm well-versed in the needed below-grade prep and how to put it together having done them myself in the past. However, I'm considering hiring this out as digging, hauling and placing fill, running a jumping jack, and muscling the pavers isn't what my back needs this Spring after having a nasty flare up from an old injury.
Going to try to seek out some reputable contractors in my area for this work, but would love to get some input on typical installed cost, time for a pro to complete, and any thoughts or considerations.
Thanks!
