My house... Calgary, AB... This morning...
Good Point..Those pictures should do the job! Being from California most people that ask me how I like it are from there. Since the statute of limitation has run out on me being from Cali (HA,HA) I just plain ole tell them that most Idahoans don't like Californians and they will have a tough time fitting in for a while. Us reconverted red necks enjoy our way of life up here and don't like people who ride our bummer on the highway as we take our time to travel from point A to point B. If they still plan on heading up here I suggest they quickly remove their Cali license plates and get a new drivers license to advance their blending in thus avoiding someone from here giving them the middle finger welcome to Idaho wave...They usually head to Oregon or Washington after that..HA,HA!

I'm into low cost housing, low state and property taxes and less government intrusion.

And North Alabama has the great Tennessee River outside my front door and two Robert Trent Jones golf courses on my street.

Life's good.

Grew up in Northern MN the land of no opportunity. Moved to the city almost 50 years ago. Now I just hate the weather except for August and September. Ready to leave the State.

Four seasons a year, NASCAR races on the freeway twice a day.

Mountains, rivers, desert, shopping mall all within an hours drive.

A state with no sales tax 30 min away.

What's not to like....
