Perhaps that newspaper was running out of "o" and hoping no one would notice.

LOL, when I was in the Air Force my NCO, shift Chief would always ask, “Who the he— are you writing this for? No one who will take the time to read it reads above the eighth grade level! Dumb it down!” After considering I was writing military intelligence reports analyzing our own security flaws, I would take exception to that statement. Others with lower grade level writing, made promotions faster.

LOL! You assume people talk the same way you do, using the correct words within some reasonable understanding of the spoken let alone the written language.

Barring Autocorrection corruption.

This thread needs to be removed I think.

“Something as trivial as this topic doesn't even deserve a thread. How is this related to RVing.“

Objection: RVing is a life style/choice. The persons on this forum are in fact an amalgam of our country with certain exceptions (Murbella7, et al) and as such they/we should be able to express ourselves as best we can AND those who can should be able to help us by expressing their frustration with our country’s official language.

Oh, Murbella7, I don’t care what language you speak, Australian or Proper English or even ‘Merican as long as you show us a world other than our daily fare, you have my vote! P.S.: Auto keeps trying to change Murbella to Marbella... now I have to go look at all the posts to see if Auto is right or my memory is. I am kind of betting Marbella... memory fails.

A search reveals Murbella7 is correct. Maybe memory isn’t so bad?

If you look at the top of the page, you will see that this thread is located in the "Off-Topic" section of the "General Community Discussions."

So I guess if it doesn't interest you, you should simply stay out of this area of the forum.

BTW: If you visit family next Thanksgiving for dinner, I would suggest you shut down anyone at the dinner table who wants to discuss anything not related to Thanksgiving and Pilgrims; then you won't need to put up with any other trivial discussions; football comes to mind for me.

Just plain and simple people in different parts of the country say things differently and use different words (now even more so when you in include the rest of the world).

Now y'all lets go get a soda, pop or coke....... or is it hey guys lets go get a pop...... or is it use guys...........while you are at it be sure to put the groceries in the boot...... don't leave them in the buggy......

Personality it makes us who we are...... and does not matter...........

Now lets talk about your hot water heater.........

They tell me all caps is YELLING....... Really????? Who came up with that??? it means to me someone like me can't type very well. Oh wait that's me........

Don't let the little things get to you life is too short.............

To y’all, thanks for an interesting read.

Personally, I gave had enough of those people, them or any of the exclusionary words.

I prefer, we, our and other associated inclusionary words. We campers. We campers noticed this individual who needs our help...
