One thing is certain;

Southern Hospitality abounds during this storm.

Chick fil A is giving free meals to stranded people.

I saw a picture of a man standing on the side of a highway handing out free home made sandwiches to stranded people.

Home Depot opened their doors for stranded people...saw pics of them sleeping on lawn chairs in the aisles.

Publix Grocery Stores did the same...sans the lawn chairs of course.

That's just how we roll down here.

The wife made it back last night safely and my work is still closed, so we got a vacation day together.

Atlanta is a great town and wrote the book on hospitality. My mom and dad got stuck in a ice storm in the 80's. They were stuck on the road for most of the day. The local folks pitched in and found them lodging and really saved them. I complain about traffic just like anyone but will always be thankful to the fine people in Atlanta.

Atlanta traffic is no different than Chicago, Houston, Dallas/Ft Worth, New York City, Newark, Orlando, LA, or any other city of 1,000,000+, they are all nightmares.
