Atlanta traffic is horrible

Had to go into work for a meeting and left at 12:30 when my company let everyone go home because if the snow--except all of Atlanta left at the same time. It took me 3 hours, 15 minutes to go 23 miles to get home. Geez. Can't wait to find another job in another city!

Lived there for 23 years--the one thing I don't miss is the traffic! The drivers don't handle snow very well at all. Good luck!

I was offered a job in Atlanta years ago. Great pay/benefits, easy work and all. Did a little asking around and turned it down because of the traffic. No regrets.

The best view of Atlanta is in my rear view mirror.

Iowa: Not as bad as you picture it.

Saw some pictures of the traffic and "snow". Wish our snow storms were so bad.

I usually try to time things so when I have to drive through Atlanta, it's at 2am.

I thought my commute was bad yesterday, my field technician had to get his kid from school, he got within 5 miles of the school and got a call from home saying the principal drive his kid home. Took him a total of 9 hours to go about 35 miles.

I had heard on the news that what was normally a 1 hr commute was taking 10 hrs or more and people were running out of fuel and abandoning their cars.

Man we get crappy weather, but not to the extent traffic gets snarled like that. However with our population our rush hour is more like a rush minute!!!

If I was to accept a job as an instructor for my work, it would be in Atlanta. Oh, I can imagine it now. Pack a sleeping bag!
