By the way, the Onion Bombs recipe you posted earlier was really "the bomb." Very tasty. Great idea. Couldn't wait to go camping. Made them at home.

How 'bout a link to the onion bombs?
About the bacon, I grew up in New Mexico and for me, green chilis are like bacon, you can put them on a hubcap and make it taste good.

You just take off the outer onion paper stuff, and chop it in half, as evenly as you can! Then you separate the pieces into matching pairs from the outside to the inside. They look big enough, but when you put them together there isn't as much room For the meat balls 1 lbs ground beef 1 pound sausage 1 cloves of garlic chopped 1-1/3 cup ketchup
Season to taste with Montreal spicy steak seasoning.
3 slices of bread torn up
Pepper and salt to taste
Mix it all together with your hands
Double wrap in aluminum foil.
Bake at 350 for 50 minutes and shut oven off.
Let bombs sit for ten minutes and enjoy.

You added bread and crackers and left out the Montreal steak seasoning from your original recipe. I'll bet yours are different every time, which can be a good thing. LOL
