they have them in 4-8 and 6-12 lengths also. I'm thinking 6-12, since it will never be set lower than that, and wouldn't have to extend to far, so would maintain good strength.

6'-12' should be good for practically everyone including MHs.

6061 T6 alum, get it from Butler Built Mfg that makes the high $ seats for Nascar, WoO sprints, etc.

I'm wondering if a nylon set would be sturdy enough. Since they are made for boat tops and they see more wind than I ever want my awning to see. Reason being is I want black, since my TT is all brown and black.

If they telescope, I don't see why they wouldn't work. I've used electrical pvc for some and FT Turbs uses emt for his poles.

Even though I made a set of PVC ones that I carry everywhere, I would be interested in a set of brackets, possibly 2 when my camping buddy finds out!
