Awning Pole Attaching Kit

Thinking of putting together a kit of 2 upper brackets, 2 lower brackets, 2 ss bolts/locknuts, hitch pins and rivets. How many if any would be interested in something like this. All you would have to do is get painters telescoping poles and make your own hold downs.

I would, and I haven't even installed the kit I have yet. Wouldn't mind having another set of the brackets just in case I need them later, or want to help out one of the inlaws should they want this set up.

At least in Heaven, RVs will be perfect, and I won't have to keep fixing them.

When and if I decide to assemble them, I will put the post in the ad section. Just trying to get a feel for it.

After the last fiasco with shipping complete pole kits, don't want to go thru that again. Too old and too lazy and FT Turbs just sat in Iowa and did nothing!

Just ordered all the hardware for 50 kits. Should have it by the middle to the end of next week. Brackets ???. Stay tuned, will post a thread when the complete kits are ready.

I'm interested. Searched and found your pics. Very simple yet effective setup. Looks very durable and the self storing in definitely a big plus.

Has anyone tried or looked at using these?

looking at them now. Definitely a possibility with your hardware kit. I would go with a shorter length though. Awning will never be 20ft high, I hope. I normally keep mine just high enough to walk under, but low enough for maximum shade.
