Exclamation BAD experience at RV parks.....

I wanted to give a heads up to AVOID at ALL COSTS the following RV parks in Lakeview Oregon. 1st is the Mile High RV park. The place is more /less a Dump, and the manager is a Complete MORON, VERY NOSY, and all they care about is getting the space $$$. If your have any issues with THEIR side of the hookups, they tell you its YOUR problem. The sites are NOt big enough for the average say 25' RV with any size of slides. 99% of the time their so called landro-mat dont work or rips you off. They would rather rent spaces for the night/ week/ or month to Non paying ex-fellons still on probation, than honest, great outstanding individuals. If you have a toad behind you, thats considred a 2nd vehicle and you have to disconnect it and leave it out on the street. In 3 days we seen 2 of the vehilces get hit by passer bys. The manager and local athorities told them " sorry dont know waht to tell you, Deal with it."
2nd is the Hunters RV park just north of town. its getting about the same rating and same issues as the above one, and they dont tell you that the electric is above and beyond the space rent untill after the fact. 1 month a friend of ours stayed there, his electric bill for the month was over $225. making the space rent over $500 for 1 month. they also have a fuel station there for Diesel and Gas. AVOID FILLING HERE !!! they always and I mean Always have water in the fuel.
So if your traveling north or south on HWY 395 in southern Oregon. Please dont waste your time and $$$ at these places.
Keep driving!!!!! BTW, fuel is the highest here in the Lakeview Area than ANYWHERE in OREGON !!!

I really like "www.campgroundreviews.com" and encourage you to post this there. I use it everytime we go out and, for the most part, the user reviews seem spot on. Thanks for the info !!
