DD1 was 4 weeks old and DD2 was 3 or 4 weeks old on their first trips.
We just planned activities around each of their particular needs, seemed to have worked out well both times.

Our first daughter was 3 mo on her first trip. No issues and was actually really relaxing being as we never left but for a short walk to splash in the lake we were camping on!
