Bird Feeders

My wife enjoys feeding the birds at home. We are about to become full-timers and was wondering if anyone puts out bird feeders at their campsites?

We always carry a bird feeder in the 5th wheel. If we stay at a place long enough and they allow it, we put out the feeder. If we are just there a day or two, we usually don't bother. Some places don't allow feeders so you have to ask. If you are at a CG that allows feeders, it usually doesn't take long to get birds as they are used to looking around RVs for food.

Throw the bird feed on the ground. The birds will find it in short order. Most people will never notice it. And there's no feeder to take up space in the RV or to attract attention of the "no feeder police"
