Boat trailer question

Been almost 5 years since I've had my boat trailer out. Pulled it down the road about 5 miles and seemed to be ok. Should I change the bearings or just give them a shot of grease?

I would pull the hubs and repack!
It will give you a chance to check bearings for rust and pitting and allow you to replace the seals.

and carefully check the tires for cracking, aging, etc.
Many would say to replace them at 5 years and carry along a new spare.

oil bath, buddy or standard bearings?

oil bath - if you can see the oil level, just go, you are good.

standard, pull and pack them.

buddy - pull them, make sure springs in the buddy are good, then re-pack.

And get some new tires.
