Busted!

As stated, we're at Catherine's Landing, Hot Springs, AR for the weekend, (it's COLD here!) and parked two spaces away from an FR3. Since I've been wanting to check one of those out DH and I walked over to meet them.

I asked if they knew there is a forum for FR products and the lady immediately asked:

Are you Weezer?

Yup, that'd be me!

Nice folks with a very nice RV! I got a tour!

Won't state their names, preserving their privacy but she/he can reveal themselves if they wanna.

BTW, a caution for other V-Lite models like ours:
The his and her bathroom sinks are plumbed differently. The owners of the park asked us to keep our faucets running at a small drizzle to prevent freeze ups. We opened the gate valve for the grey tank and turned both sink faucets on low.

Ahem, the left sink is plumbed to the black tank...smaller than the grey tank, of course. Yep, the black tank filled up and the sink overflowed onto the floor during the night. Thankfully I caught it early....3 AM potty run.

BTW, wmtire, you wanted a report on this park? It's awesome so far and we've only seen a small part of it. And for you and us, it's 4 lane all the way except for maybe 30 miles. 167 out of Ruston, to 270 in AR. Very easy run for us.

Concrete pads, we're right on the water's edge, and it's beautiful.

Oh, and they are absolutely pet friendly....even have signs on the entrance road stating they are.

I really need to check mine out now that you mention it. I THINK everything drains to gray except for the toilet, but I think I'd rather be sure.

If you have 2 sinks, the one next to the toilet is probably plumbed to the black tank. I guess it's because it's cheaper. (eyeroll)

Yeah, I kinda figure the bathroom sink might go to black, heck the shower might too, you never know with these things. Next time I get it out, I'll just open the gray dump and run one thing at a time.

Good idea! We always assumed the bathroom sink and shower went to the gray tank. We have a black tank, a gray tank, and a galley tank.

That`s nice that there is a built in choice if you want to do it that way. either use one sink or the other for whatever type of camping your doing.

It`s nice to meet people from the forum!

There was nothing icky or yucky, thankfully. Just the sink ran over and that was clear clean water. Toilet didn't run over, just wouldn't flush, until DH ran out and opened the black tank gate valve (full hook ups here).

Just odd that one sink is on the black tank and the other is on the grey tank. We also have a black, a grey, and a galley tank. I figured that's standard.

We did find out that we do, in fact, have the artic pack. And we have the tank heaters. DUH, the rocker switch is right there on the panel for it. DH knew but I hadn't noticed.

Supposed to be warmer tonight...."just" 32. Drove up to Petit Jean Mountain today...ran the Scenic 7 Route. Still *lots* of leaf color, even this late in the season.

The jury is still out, for me, regarding cold weather camping. Fred The Wonder Dog is *loving* it, but hey, he's got a nice fur coat!

And, we're NOT leaving any faucets running tonight. We brought heat tape and we'll just put that on our water line. Shoulda done that last night....camp and learn.

BTW, surprisingly this park is dang near FULL. Only a few spaces vacant....hey if they can do it so can we.
