On the 4th I was at Stanley Lake Campground, outside Stanley ID. Nice views, But I will never go back there. The gravel road in the campground was a drag strip for kids on bikes while the parents sat around the campfires and got drunk. Camp host was totally worthless.

Moved over to Wapiti Campground about 15 miles east of the east entrance/exit to Yellowstone and it was great. Quiet, an occasional kid on a bike but riding at a normal speed and not yelling like a banshee. Only problem was some morons riding horses through the campground, even though it was well posted no to horses, and not picking up the horse crap in front of my campsite. I bagged it and took it over to the river area where they were parked...they weren't around, sure hope they found that bag in the back of the pickup.
This campground was a winner. I would go back.
