camping withdrawal

Anyone else out there in the winter wonderland having camping withdrawal? Counting down the days. Camping is very addictive and miss it when we can't get out there.

Went camping over New Years and have 2 trips scheduled over the next three weeks. No withdrawals here!

We definitely miss camping. We bought our first tt early August, 2012, so we didn't have much time to enjoy it before winterizing. Like you, we are counting down the days to Spring..

Watched New Years Day Bowl Games out there or should I say Watched / Slept through a couple games! Plugged in a small ceramic heater and enjoyed the day!

Yep, the winter is when I start planning RV trips for the upcoming season. That's also why we always go to the winter RV show in St. Louis every year. Along with camping withdrawal I get cabin fever too. I help treat the cabin fever by taking an all-inclusive trip to Mexico every January. We're going to the RV show this Thursday and then Saturday we fly to Mexico. This year we're staying at the Grand Bahia Principe Tulum Resort for 7 days.

Yep I'm ready. Kinda sad seeing the 5er just seting out there. I would just go out and open the slides a kick back for a while, but I cleaned all the seals before I closed them last, so I really hate to open it till I'm ready to pull it out on the road.
- come on spring!

We are close to that response. Last trip was Christmas and we were the only ones in the CG for four days! Ahh...the quiet.

Yup. That's why we are hitting the RV show next weekend (even though it isn't the good one) and that is also why I came here asking questions about the sabres and haven't left yet.

Our's was New Year's week, we were the only campers besides the campground host on the opposite side of the loop...don't get that too often! Kids thought they owned the place ))

Cajun- same here. Camp host on other side of planet. Our dogs had a pretty good stand off with the coyotes though.

Just went out to my RV, started it up and let it run 4 awhile. Checked for mice and looked the inside over. Can't wait for spring!! Went to two RV shows last weekend, gets me itching to go camping.

Just booked our season opener for march 8. We will be dewinterizing when we get there. It is a gorgeous site with a direct view of the lake from the awning side. Now if march would just hurry up and get.

Last trip was mid-Oct to San Antonio. This Friday we are leaving for Galveston for a 4 day weekend. Our 30th wedding anniversary. Gotta love the wife who likes to camp!

Went to the storage site yesterday just to check on the trailer, with the warm weather we were feeling like it might be lonely......

Just came back from checking on the rv in storage. I am ready to get on the road. The winter gives me time to plan trips for the upcoming season. I look forward to the cherry blossoms with F.R.O.G. as my first trip of the year!
