Can someone explain the difference here?

I saw this for sale on the Internet and noticed the weight on this 5th wheel


Does anyone have an idea why the difference. The specs are from Puma website the other for sale.

The sticker must be a mis-print. There is no way a 27' 5er is going to have a 12k gvwr unless it is custom made.
Heck our 42' sabre had a 12k yellow dry weight sticker with a 14,xxx gvwr. I don't remember exactly, but i thought our puma 295kbh was just a little over 10k gvwr

check the VIN on your unit with the one on the sticker. I wonder if someone keyed in something wrong.

It looks like the tires and axles match the GVWR, but I agree that's pretty stout for a 27' TT. Does it have the big tires and axles under it?

Only I figure is this was a heavy duty axle option(I have read that that is an option in some cases) therefore it would increase the gross and cargo weight. I will try to find it again to get dry weight too. It would have been 3500 or 4000-4200 axles standard.

I will post if I can figure it out.

I found it.... I figure the RV dealer is tired of tire/suspension problems and upgrading all of these to 16" E tires with 6000# axles... Good idea. Near consecutive SN and app 7000# dry weight. Maybe mine got mixed up in there too. Hey I can dream!
