Can use some help finding post about back problems

A few years ago I had to have spinal fusion due to a back injury. Some time during the past several months I read a post from someone who replied to a topic and the poster mentioned that they had 3 back surgeries. I can not find that post or the poster. I have done several searches without any luck. If some one knows the post or the poster, I would appreciate it if they would let me know. My back has been really hurting lately and I have a feeling that I will need additional back surgery and I wanted to find out if the additional surgeries helped the poster.

Thanks in advance.
Tom

Hmmmm... idk about the post your looking for but.....sometimes when your back gets 'fused' the vertebrea above and below the fused spot/s becomes hyper-mobile to compensate for the immobilty that the fusion creates. This will cause some back pain.
Thats my 2 cents worth and hope you find the original post =]

That is what the back surgeon said and he wants to do additional fusion. He originally fused L3-4 and wants to fuse the entire spine from the base of the rib cage to the bottom of the spine. Was hoping that the post I was looking for could give me some insight as to what he had done and if it was successful in relieving the pain.
Thanks for the reply.
