COBB Cooker/Grill

I purchased a new Cobb cooker a few years ago and have hauled it around all this time yet never used it. Well, I am ready to put it to use now that it is just the wife and I for the most part eating together.

I was thinking of trying a Beer Can Chicken tomorrow, but finding recipes for the Cobb seem to be few and far between.

Does anyone have a simple recipe for this dish? I am guessing I need to use around 10 pieces of charcoal, with a cooking time of 90 minutes. I can either do the traditional beer can up the chickens lower end or pour the beer in the mote. Season to taste with rub before placing in the cooker.
Does this sound close to correct?

Have any other recipes you care to share? I look forward to hearing your responses.
