I'm thinkin' I'll apply the $50.00 refund to purchasing one of those Lil Red propane campfires.
It will cost more but we are really sold on Campfire in a Can - we had a chance to compare both side-by-side last NOV and the Campfire beat Lil Red hands down!

And, hey it is gonna last for years so might as well get one that will actually keep you warm if you need it to

Wait til you start buying propane for it. We got the Lil Red and it will put out a bunch of heat.

I'm guessing your talking about a flaker style ice machine. Harder to find but the ice is the best.

Is there a Sonic Drive In Restaurant near you? If so this is the same type ice they have in their fountain drinks.

Soft and easy to chew. think aeration

Edited to add: The cubes are shaped like a bullet, about the size of a woman's thumb, but there is a hole thru the center of it. The hole makes it easy to break with your teeth.

<former ice chewing addict. I think I singled handedly paid for at least 3 or 4 rooms of my dentist's big house.

Maybe 1-1/4" in dia, 1" long, 1" dia small end with a 1/4" hole in the center. All edges are rounded. Easy to crunch. We love our Igloo.

OC,

I think some of those who gave this same icemaker under another brand name a bad review made the mistake of tipping it over.

The instructions warn against tipping it.

We bought a RCA at Walmart which is an Igloo. Makes great chewing ice!
