Not a tequila drinker! I drank a sh!tload of Jack Daniels and Dr. Pepper along with cold beer while eating crawfish. Rick at Cest Bon can testify to that! If I would go on a Wednesday he would ask me if I was coming back so he could but another bottle of Jack, there were times I drank him out of Jack and he had to make a run into town to get another bottle. I don't drink like that anymore though, my liver is still thanking me!

Well was in New Orleans last week. We have never had Crawfish. So our friends there made sure we got a couple pound. They were prepared great and really good. My assessment is they are too much work for too little return. Really glad we tried them.

We ate at a restaurant. Don't misunderstand me. I really loved them! They were cooked very Cajun and were great. Just takes forever to eat them. We used them as an appetizer . If I used as a meal I'd be there all night!!

That's 90% of eating them. Chill and pig out with friends...

I understand that assessment. However, after you do it for awhile, you learn how to peel them so much faster (all the shortcuts). My daughter and I can go thru 5 pounds in less than 5 minutes.

Practice makes perfect...as in most things.

Peeling takes some practice. Once you get the technique, you can enjoy so much more.
