Curiosity has landed!

The new Mars lander is safely on the surface of the red planet!
And it almost immediately started sending pictures home.
It blows my mind what is possible these days.

Thanks, I am sure it will be in the news today.
Wow, what an achievement.

I am sure a Martian is just shaking his tentacles and saying "There goes the neighborhood" in Martian.

Curiosity's landing was an awesome technological achievement. I hope the "lab" turns up new and interesting information.

I was up until 1:30 am watching the NASA live TV feed. I'm a little groggy at the moment . . . . uh . . . .

Yea, but wouldn't it be great if we could shed some of that largess on our State & National park systems, update & expand them some to match capability with the demand put there ?
