Daylight Saving Time

... Is here again. To me,it has it's pros and cons and I'm always reminded of what an old Native American Indian said about it.

It went roughly like this - "The U.S. Government is probably the only one who thinks you can cut one foot off the top of a blanket, sew it on the bottom of the blanket and now believes you have a longer blanket."

To me its all pros...love the extra light to bbq outside, esp. while camping). Retired so I don't have to get up in the dark to go to work.

Big plus: my cheap digital watch now has the right time (LOL).

When I grew up in Scotland it did not get dark in June so we enjoyed the long daylight hours, but, it was the opposite in winter, now living in lower altitude it just seems like a waste of good hours being light at 5am and dark early in the evening.

.

Well way back when, when the work day mostly consisted of 9 to 5 weekdays then the changing of clocks probably was been beneficial.
Now a days when there are so many working 24/7 what difference does it make.

Why can the not make DST the Standard time. Then we would not have to change our clocks.
