I stayed on the infield many years ago when the back stretch was still grass and Rusty Wallace did his flip in the grass. When we were parked it was still light. As evening came we were tired and went to sleep. Woke up the next morning to being surrounded by other RV's. There was no way anyone would get out. It is for sure a different atmosphere. Drinking at 6.00 / 7.00 in the AM, campfires in holes dug in the grass, and guy's lining the infield roads with signs "Show us your T..."s. It was just my 10 year old son and myself. We had a good time all in all.
