Did some serious thinking

TOWTA and I have just about decided that the trip to FL this year will probably be the last one. We are seriously considering putting the 5er and hitch up for sale when we get back in Feb or Mar of 2016.

WHAT?!?!?!

I'm sure you have your reasons, but, WOW,.... this comes as a shock. Just figured RVing is a way of life for you.

That is sad to hear to say the least. If it is the towing and not the camping have you two thought about some of the 6/6 parks where you keep it on site but pay more for the six winter months? There is one like that in Brooksville.

Yep. I'd at least set it up close to home to sneak off and enjoy some more.

We've considered leaving the 5er in FL but don't like the idea very much. I think in the end, we'll just sell it and hang it up. Been doing it for 55 yrs.

If that is what you decide to do I totally understand. We have a bunch of people who ride motorcycles with us and get to where they are no longer comfortable or enjoying themselves. If you do, I hope you stay active on the forum. 55 years is too much of an asset to just go away!!

Nope, I would imagine in Mar/Apr2016 the 5er will have a new home.

That is gonna be hard Old Coot. Once you get RV'ing in your blood it does not want to come out.

What is better than being on vacation all the time?

Vin.

I completely understand your position. We have been doing this for 40 years now, still enjoy it as much as ever. But my health issue is slowly progressing and it is now becoming difficult to walk. Unfortunately, I can see the end of our camping life.
