Those are fighting words, especially to Texans.

You might get a kick out of where Valero actually get their company name from.

You can look it up on their company page or the internet.

If you have a hyvee card "grocery store" and use it at Casey's "gas station" .45 cent per gallon discount for up to 20 gallons.
Makes gas price here 2.95

True or not I don't know.
Me thinks the friend has it confused with Citgo.

WIKI says they are HQ in San Antonio and the name means The Alamo.

Untrue. Valero is HQ'd in San Antonio, TX. Very ethical company with very high standards. They give huge amounts to children based charities.

Chavez had a controlling interest in Venezuelan owned Citgo.

Had a similar incident with the gas pump handle being set to full open at an Exxon station. Kids around here were doing it as a prank. I'd love to catch 'em doing it one day...

Chavez owns Citgo, don't know about Valero. Cut up my Citgo card years ago.

Uh - I think it would be better to just let her think she is right rather than let Turbo talk to her

follow the commodity market. diesel and gasoline are like lobster. companies get market value each day. speculators and the retailers are killing us along with the EPA. what the market, then watch the profit margin INCREASE for the retailers. they'll ride it out until the diesel market price has dropped enough that they have to drop it 5 cents, but if it moves back up a penny. bam, there's a 6 cent/gal jump at the pump. speculators need to shutup and retailers need to quit gouging. . yeah, i'm crying, so's my wallet.
back to topic.....$3.75-3.99 in Texas panhandle
