On my current trip in Texas I've paid from 3.75 to 3.99. Try to stay away from Flying-J and most other truck stops and you'll do better. It seems that in north Texas, many of the normal stations have started to lay out there pumps where an RV can actually pull thru!

The last time I filled up at a Valero station, the pump didn't shut off and I ended up with about 5 gallons of fuel on the ground underneath my vehicle!
And isn't Valero Mexican-owned?
I'll pay more somewhere else.

It was 3.73 when I put some in last weekend here in the KC Metro area. Often prices in town are cheaper than on the highway, for reasons that are probably not explainable.

Since that time unleaded dropped over 10 cents to 3.29, expecting diesel to fall under 3.70 here as well.

Tulsa, OK area.....Has been $3.69 for a month. Regular unleaded has bounced back and forth .15 to .18 cents up and down. Diesel has stayed the same.

My DW won't buy anything from Valero. One of her friends told her that Hugo Chavez, the recently decreased Venulazina (sp) dictator had a controlling interest in the company and hated the U.S.

True or not I don't know.
