I can tow and setup and take down in rain. Just don't want lighting at all or anything above that, at all during trip.

I'm curious - Have you decided to go ahead or to reschedule?

Pitter-patter...Listen to the rythm of the falling rain.... pitter-patter...

ok, I just dated myself.

Even worse - I can't get that song out of my head now! It doesn't help that it used to be the ring tone on my previous phone.

We have visited Lewis and Clark for picnics and plan to camp there sometime... My wife has work stuff to do and we have camped the last two weekends and needed some time at home too. My daughter is sick so I am glad we didnt plan to go this weekend.

Hopefully the sun comes out for you!

Lately it has been raining all the times with a few good days. You look at the weather long range forecast, you think the forecast is like they say but gess what. The forecast is almost never accurate. The weather changes almost everyday and they cannot predict very far in their forecasts.

My lovely bride and I are sitting in our new camper right now about 2 hours from home. This is the maiden voyage and we are loving it. Very secluded campground with full hookups and the owner is the most pleasant man you could ever meet. He knew we were new to the RV life and came over and helped us set up. Weather isn't the greatest so far but by no means bad enough to call off our trip. Everything in the trailer is working just like it is supposed to except for one thing. Didn't even move the trailer yet from the driveway and the power stabilizers would not lift. Hand cranked them so we could hit the road and decided to worry about it later. A simple 20A fuse and we are back in business.

Happy camping!

Old car... Enjoy!!

We took out our new camper on it's maiden voyage 2 weeks ago and followed it up with a trip last weekend. We too are new to travel trailers and I can say from experience, it gets easier everytime!

Thanks Sundawg! We had the most beautiful day here in central Missouri. We could not have asked for anything better. We didn't make any reservations for Memorial Day weekend because 1)didn't know if we would have the trailer yet and 2)didn't know how serious the shakedown issues would be. The campground we are staying at right now is wonderful and they have sites still open for the holiday weekend so I think we are coming right back here. Two hours from the house so it can be a true
long weekend.

You have a lot of states filled in on your map. That isn't all from camping is it?

Nope, most from just traveling. I have only camped in SD, MN, MT, CO and WY
