Drug take back day

Since all of us enjoy the out of doors, and we should be environmentally responsible - thought I would pass this on. As you may know, left over and expired medications are to be disposed of properly and should not go in the trash or down the toilet. The DEA holds a couple of drug take back days every year where you can clean out your medicine cabinet and one of them is this Saturday Oct 26th.
Please take this opportunity to go through the house and get rid of these medicines (and keep them out of the hands of the little ones)

Check the web site for a collection site near you:

We've missed the last few years of drug take back days. I'm looking forward to getting some ugly stuff out of our house this weekend.

And just to add...many police agencies now have drop boxes where you can discard your old or unwanted medications.

I did not know that. I actually was waiting around for one of these "take-back" days to get rid of some stuff.

In Canada the pharmacies also take back unused medications.
