FYI. Some campgrounds prohibit zappers. Missouri state parks specifically calls them out on the rules and regulations.

For the home, I built 4 'bat boxes' in the backyard to give the flying rodentia a place to live. A family of bats can eat more insects in a night than your zapper can kill.

I didn't know that MO state parks prohibited bug zappers. I don't own one but it's good information to know.

I had considered getting one. I'm also thinking about the C02 repellers and the homemade traps. I currently have the natural spray, the DEET spray, and the torches with the no bug fuel. I guess I'll see what works and get progressively expensive til I figure it out.

I've looked at the Missouri state park regulations and can't find any reference to them. Was wanting to know as we are planning on going to Crowder State Park by Trenton, MO the last of Aug for 10 days. Class reunion & visiting friends.
