Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there...and future dads. I hope you have a wonderful day!!
I lost my dad 3 years ago this month to cancer. We sure miss him. Lost my mother in 2003. Thank you God for our time together. Love them why you have them...you will not regret.

Happy Father's Day to all the dad's! I will get to see my dad next weekend when I fly up to MD for the weekend. In the meantime DD and I get to spoil my DH today.
We just sent a good one heaven today. He was not my Father but my Father's best friend. I lost my Father 3 yrs ago, and I looked to this man for help and guidance in my Father's absence. This man at the age of 14, raise 5 of his own brothers and sisters after losing his Father in a farming accident and a year later his Mother just left never to be seen again. Then as an adult with 5 children of his own, faced that same scenario again when his wife left him. He raised his children as best he could while working 2 jobs and his own farmette. Hardest, strongest man I have ever met. After 3 heart attacks and two bypass surgeries, at the age 70 would work harder and longer than many "20 somethings" combined!
Remarkable man who commanded respect upon sight. My Father and Clarence (Foxy) will always be greatly missed.

So sorry for your loss. They don't have to be blood to be family. May he rest in peace.
