first frost, want to leave

We had our first frost this morning, not what this one-legged guy on crutches was expecting to see when I went out on the porch to smoke. Crutches were fine, but my shoe did want to slip a bit. I have a doctor's appointment the end of this month, hoping he says I don't have to come back for a long time, or at least next spring. He has yet to tell me I need to recuperate on a warm beach. I think he is just jealous because he can't go.

had our first frost this past Saturday night (sigh)

I kick myself every year about this time...why did I EVER think moving back here from Florida was a good idea?
