Florida or Texas?

Interested in hearing people's thoughts about which place to live at in my rv after we move from the unlivable state of IL.

I already have a lease in Florida from year to year but Texas looks pretty cheap.

I would pick south Texas. In my experience not quite as humid as Florida.

And it's Texas.. Enough said.

I live in Texas, have for 44 years. The Lower Rio Grand Valley is hot and humid and the wind always blows. It is cheaper then the nice parts of Florida during the winter. More then 100,000 winter Texans do it every year. Neither state has a state income tax but FL is a kind state for seniors. Health care if you are on Medicare should be about equal. Being from Texas, I go see my sister in Ft. Myeres in winter.
