Fuel stabalizer

Do most people add a fuel stabilizer during storage I have never added one to diesel or gas engine and i store with whatever gas is in the tank 1/4 to F but only for about 4 months a year in moderate climate

Hey Boso, for the 5-10 bucks for the stabilizer its cheap insurance , and make sure you get one that removes water if you are running ethanol gas.

I topped the fuel tank off on my rv, added fuel stabilizer, and ran the engine and generator for around 15 min before putting it in enclosed storage.

Cost about $6 to treat 40 gallons, so to me it's cheap insurance.

I also go out 3x over the winter pull it out, run the engine and gen for 30 min, and check for any issues. (Mice, dead batteries, tires, etc)

Likely overkill, but I paid quite a bit for the thing so I want to take care of it.

Yes, for everything I own either Sta-Bli for the gas power equipment and for my diesel vehicles I use Power Service products as required.
