Gas prices again

Murphys' (Wal Mart) has Regular Self Service for $2.81 a gallon. The local and national media said gas prices are expected to drop more in the coming months..

I believe you're right - there will be another "crisis" in the Mid East or another "weather disturbance" soon and prices will go up - especially since the holiday travel season is coming.

Wow - 77 cents per gallon difference between gas and diesel. It's a good thing there's a truck market for diesel or what would the oil refiners do with the stuff?

That's high compared to what it is here right now - when I quote gas prices, I'm using the Murphy price as I figure they are probably among the lowest around my area.

It is just Idaho, several cents over the national average is normal.

When at home I fuel at Maverik and get 2c a gallon off.

I just bought gas at a Phillips 66 here in Union, MO. Almost all of the stations in town are at $2.699 this afternoon.

I was told that because gas usage was way down this summer, there is still a lot of "summer blend" in storage and the refineries want to get the stock down so they can start making winter blend (and run the price back up.)

Canadians get taken to the cleaners on gas and booze. What more can I say.
Oh yes also on automobiles, car parts and Seadoo's. Even fellow Canadian manufacturers hose us big time.

I wish someone would tell my neighborhood gas station! They are 40 cents higher than driving 8 miles away.
