Gas prices going up ...again.

It's been awhile since I last purchased gas,but I went by 2 Murphy's (Wal Mart) today and one was posting $3.43 for self service regular and the other was posting $3.47 for the same.

That's the highest I seen in awhile.

Gas has been going up here in SoCal for several weeks. Yesterday I paid $4.11 for regular unleaded.

Yep - I'm just waiting to hear them blame the missing Malaysian 777 as another excuse.

Regular unleaded went up to $1.34 Canuck a litre here this morning. That works out to around $5 US a gallon. The irony that the majority of the product used in North America seems to come from the tar sands in my own country escapes me at this point.

That's cheap. Today's current rate 129.9/L.

129.9 * 3.8 = 493.62 / G

493.62 *.9 (going exchange rate) = 444.258 / G

32 G tank = 32*3.47 = 111.04 near you. 32*4.44258 = 142.16 near me.

Convert that back to Canadian and I'm looking at $34.58 savings to buy it down there.
