You have to wonder what really happened to the Milwaukee Brewers. They were in first place for the majority of the season and set a franchise record 122 consecutive days in first place. In mid-August they collapsed and only won 11 of their last 36 games and finished the season in third place, 8 games out of first place. I’m thinking there were clubhouse issues, but who knows? Perhaps the players were just burned out.

wonder how pujols feels now seeing his former team do it yet again. i know it wont last forever, and young people under 20 are getting spoiled with the cardinals winning ways, but i will enjoy it while it lasts.

at least the cubs world series record will stand for a lot longer than any of us will be around to witness. lets say they win in 15, and their track record is a world series every 100 + yrs..... nope. i wont be here to see them repeat. of course, this is all hypothetical...
especially the part of the cubs winning the ws in 15.
