For those who watch it.

Really enjoyed watching it again. I think Parker really set the bar high for his crew. Looks like Beets has quite the project on his hands.

He sure does. The mans a visionary. My grandfather and grandmother were Norwegian. Like I mentioned earlier my grandfather had the same attitude. Get it done or get out of my way and I'll do it but he always treated strangers well.
Todd and his old man have their work cut out for them for sure. I can't blame his crew for leaving him. I'm sure they have mouths to feed and bills to pay.
Parker is letting his age show bit like always and looks like Freddy and his crew will do well.
Should be a great season.

These guys have to be getting money from someone. The Hoffman place looks prettry nice from the air and they left in what appears to be a new Ford pickup.

Todd said early that his wife left him,but nothing more.

For sure Todd is getting money from somewhere. How can you go from one losing season to another and another and still be able to do things. One thing is....wish Todd would shave that silly beard off!

Maybe that's his dad's place. If I remember right on the first season the show had mentioned that the Hoffman's had made their money from the construction industry. They did have a bunch of heavy equipment they hauled up there from Oregon.
I don't think I would have the brass to put everything I own on the line to chase gold. It took to many years and a lot of hard work to get where the DW and myself are today.

Saw the last show on Sunday. Showed where Todd said that there was no way Parker would get 2000 ounces......was he wrong.!! Also showed him......renting a helicopter so he could fly over Parker's claim to see what he was doing.....seems spendy for somebody with 4 losing seasons! See what happens this next season with Gene leaving Parker.......Gene is the smarts of that outfit.

One question I have is how can they destroy the terrain like they do, and Alaskan officials don't seem to at least make them do reclaimation.
