Good News, Sad News

Oldest son, Mardy,(my tig welder & 1 of my 2 best buddies Joe (youngest)being the other ) got a new job for double his present salary. GREAT NEWS, sad part is it's in Anchorage, AK has to be there on site 18Aug. He is presently in California for Osmose and will fly back to Charlotte 09Aug and then to AK 11Aug. Good thing we didn't make the Goshen scene, otherwise we would have missed him completely. Damn I hate to see him go, but happy to see him making more $.

I'd sure like to see Alaska someday but I don't think I'd want to spend a winter there. Glad he found work! I bet the cost of living is cheaper there over California too.

Same sentiment here OC. Happy for his new job and pay increase, Sad that he's going to AK for so long.

I don't have to be Karnak The Magnificent to predict that insanely modded and tricked out 5er making more than a couple trips to the cold climate. OR, you and TOWTA jumpin' on a plane headed that way.

Between your trips there and his trips here the time will pass quickly and you'll have your bestest buddy back close to home base.

Gary, I think you have definitely been drinking your bath water. I tried him once and all he did was come in @ 11:00am leave some brown piles, leave @ 11:15 am for lunch, come back at 4:45pm leave another pile or two and leave at 5:00pm. He was fired after the 2nd day. Now have a restraining order.
