Get'n there early takes all the fun away of watching the parking crew figuring out a route to get the Monster in it's site....

Do you keep a log of all your stops Rennie?
We did that first couple years. Now just in my head.
I know people that have name & phone # of all campground they camped at. Along with milages and average MPG I just put fuel in when I need it. Now and then I'll look at my milage.

I keep the campground maps of the places we have stayed in and the wife keeps a travel record of mileage and stops and also fuel purchases, more so just for general knowledge and maybe future visits

Well I did make a suggestion last year to the folks at V-Lite plant but I have not seen the update that is needed. But it is only a small item to help keep the refrig cooler. However I take it in stride and maybe someday it will happen. Still happy with my unit. Later RJD

Sorry but I never really ended this thread but do want to thank all that followed along and posted on it, it really helped make it more interesting. We had a great trip and a wonderful time at Goshen and already looking forward to next summer's adventure, looking at a tour around Michigan so any tips and or advice will be greatly appreciated. Enjoy your fall camping everyone and safe travels where ever they may take you

Believe me I gave it some serious thought, maybe if the wife was retired and we could have planned to stay in central states area....she goes in 4 years and the way the Amana rally looks it will still be around

Really enjoyed following your trip Rennie. Now as to Michigan. That will be a great trip too. Ford Museum-Christmas Village-Soo-locks. I'll help you when you get ready. Lol.
