Ok we did ride out to see the town area called Red River and it was more like a Bavarian ski village then like the adobe buildings we have been seeing but still a nice area we might plan to return to sometime.
We did take a ride out the Gorge River bridge to look for some of the ram horn sheep but none while we were there, but a great view

Look again, I hit send to fast and had to edit picture in, falling rock sign and from the size of some of the rocks they could flatten our little car!!!!! Let;s not talk about hills some we had a hard time peddling up them.

We never lost anyone out of the raft but close a time or two, he even had his dog on board with her own doggie life vest. The rafting outfitter even had a nice spread for dinner which we could enjoy also as it was the last trip of the day, they are like a family and all so very friendly.

Ok up early and out to hike to the top of Tent Rocks Monument trying to beat the predicted 99 degree high and really glad we did, we were the 1st up the trail and met the crowds on our way back down and as we got lower the temps got higher!!!

After our hike and a well earned rest at the bottom which had nice covered picnic area we headed towards home but side tripped to the town of Madrid for lunch, anyone remember what movie was filmed there? Or at least part of it.
