While at our stay in Lincoln Ne we were suggested by a friend to check out Sunken Gardens, a free city garden started back at the end of the depression and was a very nice display, not my kind of thing but the wife likes this so since she endured my railroad stop it was my turn.

We stayed at Camp A Way while in Lincoln, nice clean and shady place but does suffer from road noise as it is close to I-80, they have a large chess set near the store, never seen something like this at a campground, a father & son were playing when we arrived. The pieces were about 2' tall weighted down with water.

Multi-tasking for sure. Play chess while you get in shape lifting heavy pieces.

Made it to Altoona Iowa, drove thru one of the worst storms ever first winds then heavy rain for about 40 miles. Really like sitting higher then in a pick up truck, was above the spray from other vehicles but going was slow still the same. Found another big truck in the campground and also recognized him from being at the FROG rally the last 2 years but have not had a chance to say hi yet.

OK, I知 not going to ask, but now I知 beginning to doubt my wisdom in taking a trip to China. Checking off one of the few things left on my bucket list next April, the Great Wall of China.

Isn't that too true. Fortunately I have one thing on my bucket list that I probably will never get to do and that's fly in a plane faster than the speed of sound. When the Concorde was retired that pretty much blew my chances of that. It's still on my bucket list but very improbable.

Nah. Are you going to Goshen? If so, just ask my wife to drive you to town.

Mission accomplished!
